Tuesday, 7th July – Visit to Knaresborough

Knaresborough is a picturesque market and spa town, famous for its dramatic setting above the River Nidd and its high arch bridge. Its medieval streets, ancient castle ruins, the Castle Museum, and Mother Shipton’s Cave make it a fascinating place to visit.

A guided tour on a tractor and special trailer around Tasker’s strawberry farm at North Wheatley followed by strawberries and cream.

Litter picks finish at 11.30 am at the latest – in plenty of time to get a well-earned Sunday lunch!
